Leukaemia Fundraiser

Fundraising Event: Farnham Golf Club

On the 30th of April 2022, we once again held a dinner dance at Farnham Golf Club in the Sands. This time we had a two course meal on offer, with two live bands, playing including Extreme Ways and Keely and the Dealers.

The night was well attended by families and friends of the Fusion and Remain Nameless team with an auction for a round of golf at the prestigious club itself and a raffle that was well received throughout the night.

Everyone donned their finest outfits and dined and danced through to closing time, in a bid to raise money towards our chosen charity, Leukaemia UK and for the Remain Nameless Team. It was a fantastic night and a real team building evening where all families got the chance to mingle and catch up after the covid years.

As we head towards donating the money we have raised after three events to Leukaemia UK, itself, Stacey and I have decided to continue fundraising for such a wonderful charity that continues to mean so much to all members of the team.

Onwards and Upwards

Leukaemia and RN Fundraiser

Wow wow wow…

Finally get a chance to post about our wonderful fundraiser that we hosted back on the 24th of July 2021.

Our mission at the start of 2020 was to spend 18 months raising money for the charity of our choice leukaemia UK and towards raising money for our elite performance troupe Remain nameless.

Our target amount is £10,000 and after our first successful dinner dance event back in January 2021 we hosted another dinner dance at Farnham Golf Club in the Sands.

We can now reveal that the amount we made from this event is £1125.80 which we can add to the £3,606.20 from last time. We are almost halfway to our target after just two Events.

Stacey and I are very much looking forward to planning more events and are very thankful to everyone, friends, family, and the extended dance family and their families for the constant support. Especially after such a tough year for everyone.

May we also say a massive thank you and well done to all the dancers who took part in the three hour epic afternoon display of the routines taught through the pandemic via zoom and in the few classes we were able to run back in our studio home. It was great to see you all doing what you love and back performing which you should be. Very proud of each and everyone of you and much love.

Here’s to the next year of opportunities, Fundraising, competitions, performances, exams and just being back together doing what we love.
