Fusion Dance Academies Christmas Charity Event Raises £500 For Cancer Research.

Fusion Dance Academies held their annual Christmas Party for dancers, parents and supporters of the school, raising in one evening an incredible £500 for Cancer Research UK, supporting research to beat cancer.

“One day we will beat cancer. Your very generous donation of £500, raised on 8th December, will help us one day make that day sooner. Please pass on a huge thank you to all who helped raises such a tremendous amount. Your support truly means the world to use and we promise to make it count”

Trudy Stammer, Head of Volunteer Fundraising, Cancer Research UK

The evening celebrations were held at Rowledge Club with games, raffles and dance performances from the students, not only to raise money but to celebrate another great year at the school, thanking friends, the dance family and parents for their support throughout 2017. Highlights of the evening included the raffle prize of a free apartment in Cyprus for the week, which got a scream of delight from the winners, cocktail making for the adults from one of London’s finest barman (who looked very familiar) and a disco to dance the night away, even when the students got hold of the playlist!

“It’s always important to thank the hard work and dedication of our students with an end of year celebration. This year we wanted to make sure we were not only celebrating another great year of success and achievement but were raising money for a charity that will make a difference to so many lives”
